Montco THRIVE has been having a jammed packed semester! Each week we have been touching on a different social justice issue. Students have been encouraged to participate in small group discussion and to dig into the Bible to see what God has to say on these issues.
In the past couple of weeks college students who have attended Montco THRIVE have been discussing the following topics:
* The Persecuted Church
* Homelessness
* Capital Punishment
Topics to be covered in the next few weeks are the following:
* Clean Water
* Orphans and Widows
* Racial Reconciliation
* Sex Slavery
Each week we aim to participate in a service project related to the topic at hand.
Pray for us as we search the scriptures on these current issues, that the students will know God more fully and will desire to please Him in all things.
